how much you pay for that Meguires gold class?? I am thinking about getting some but dont know where to get it.
Your car looks great Jay but that stuff is so expensive(too expensive for me). Which one do you use?

I've been showing cars on and off for over ten years now, and have always used Autoglym. Either Super Resin on its own, or with the Extra Gloss on top sometimes.
The WilliamsF1 carnuba enriched stuff is fantastic. Just a single coat of that looks better than AG's Super resin with Extra gloss on top. And half the effort![]()
Hey, you! Out there on the road always doing what you're told, can you help me?
For my winter cars I polish with Meguiers and use Colinite paste wax which is good.
But for my show car I use Pinnacle Souverän wax which I have to import from America, but it's worth it.
cant remember but it smells great , an one of there handmade resin kits costs 10 grand!
any way im more into rust remover than wax at the moment
Dont need it cos mine is metallic, looks no differant when I use it.
THanks every 1. So i take is i should get some meguiars wax if not for the shine the smell to , If it smells that good might get some extra for my lass lmao
So where is the best place to get this wonder stuff and do i go for paste or liquid. Chears all of you lot![]()

You can get Meguiers from their Web site http://www.meguiars.co.uk they do quite a range of different polishes and waxes tho.Originally Posted by riko1965
Their latest product is their NXT range, this consists of their NXT shampoo and a combined polish and wax. I have used this and it's OK as an entry level product.
They also sell what call 3-stage systems which consists of a cutting polish, finishing polish and a wax. They have a few variations, the ones to look at are the Deep Crystal System and the Gold Class System which are quite good, I find the Deep Crystal polish and carnuba wax quite good.
The best wax they sell is the #16 Paste wax from their Bodyshop range, this is a nice strong and wet look wax and the tin would last you ages.
If you want to take things even more seriously I use a company called www.seriousperformance.co.uk who sell waxes such as Poorboys EX-P, Clearkote and P21s.
For a perfect finish you ideally want to be layering with a natural wax and polymer sealant, for instance cut, polish, glaze, sealant, wax then use a carnuba safe quick detailing spray in between waxings. With this level of paint protection you don't even need shampoo to clean the car.
Oh and you might find this amusing, some research
Auto glym Super resin. I have nearly every auto glym product available i think lol.
Used to use it every other day on my Mk2 Astra but due to circumstances stopped cleaning my next two or three cars. This weekend the Omega came under the cleaners. Had it valeted then Brian and i T-Cutted the car cos the paint felt like emery board. Once we'd dont that we Super resined it. Came up beautiful. Even brian made the comment 'maybe i under estimated this stuff' (and he is Mer through and through) I then brought it in the workshop monday and polised it with super resin twice more. Wow it is gleaming!!! Im a car cleaning addict again.

Thanks Matt! I just use the "Onyx", apparantly the cheapest wax they offer (£30 a pot) but it works for me and lasts a very long time.Originally Posted by Matt Johnson

LOL I'm up to four but that Sptifire isn't mine it belongs to a friend. Over and LowAndWide.net we have become a little 'bling' obsessed.Originally Posted by Drizz
One AutoGlym product I could not be without is the Intensive Paint Restorer, I bought my dads Honda Prelude which he's neglected for about 5 years. There were panels that he thought needed replacing but with a lot of elbow grease and the Paint Restorer all the years of tar has some off, it's wee wee's all over the Meg bug and tar remover.
Christ how many waxes out there my head is fartin lmao just wanted a wax .
Wicked mig web![]()
