looking to see how many calibra owners are down this way

not many, most can't get grips with its performance and complain about its handling and its weight.
Then on top of that Insurance companies won't insure them unless they were over 25, and its in a high insurance group, gets even more expensive to insure if you have a turbo 4x4 and if you drive a standard 16V and modify by just replacing with alloy wheels the insurance goes sky high because it becomes attractive to steal. But many just buy Calibra for a donor for its red top engine to stick it in a Nova, Corsa, Astra and some other makes like mini, fords.

Otherwise it is an excellent all round car, for the price there aren't many which could give you a reasonable comfirt, performance, and looks.
