| Re: i pod idiot Yup, Im very Anti ipod because it is a device simply to draw crowds of I want one just cos you've got one type people, like with the Iphone, style before function. (sorry to all the people that own one )
I think you can use one as a removable drive, with no need for bloaty itunes and yes AFAIK its 75p per tune if using itunes, Google is your freind
I think everythng but the nano and shuffle are Hard drive based. A very bad idea for a device that is portable and could possibly be dropped. Also the battery is non user removeable, if it does you have to send it to an apple repair centre or be handy with a screwdriver

I totally agree with your post 100%.
My sansa has seen some really ****ing rough treatment since december, yeah it crashes, yeah it has problems but take 4 screws out the back plate remove battery boot it up redo the process that made it crash and it works fine..
I can even order new batteries from where ever, sure it's a pain in the arse when it does crash but its self fixable..
My boss bought me my one for my Birthday which was very good of him
That plus a set of sennheiser headphones result in a brilliant sound after i set my own personal EQ settings

Will get a pic of the cable if you don't know what i mean!
Hell i have a docking station here you could buy the same one and mount incar, baseplate is updatable via a usb cable and comes with a remote control as well..
