| Getting my PS3 onto the Internet Right, heres the state of play.
Got Sky Broadband, came with a Netgear wireless Router. PS3 wouldn't connect properly via the wireless option, whereas my laptop does. So I connected the PS3 via a cable instead, all hunky dory, and working well.
Now the Netgear wireless router is playing up. Looks like the cable side of it has gone down, so my PC and PS3 can no longer connect to the internet, but the laptop can still do it wirelessly.
What I want to do is use the laptop as the 'bridge' between the wireless router and the PS3.
The PS3 is now connected to the laptop via a cable, is there any way I can get the PS3 to share the wireless connection of the laptop so I can go online with the PS3?

| Re: Getting my PS3 onto the Internet Specify the IP address of both LAN adapters on the PS3 and the laptop. If you right click on the laptops LAN connection there should be a "bridge" option there but if that doesn't work go to the wireless adapter, right click and properties, click the advanced tab and enable the internet connection sharing
May work, although my experiences of bridged connections with XP are "flakey" to say the least |
