Computer virus help for a mate please :)

Can he boot into Safe Mode?

He can download SDFix and install whilst in Safe Mode....it then runs in Safe Mode first and then reboots the PC and finishes off in normal mode...loading up before anything else...including explorer.exe etc

if you can get to task manager you might be able to end the task thats opeing the box then remove it from there
