Re: Movies to Ipod..

Have you converted the video to ipod format first? I use Videora cause it's free although i'm betting theres better options out there.

Give it a download and run the video you want to watch through it. You'll probably find you can play it then

Re: Movies to Ipod..

What sort of ipod do you have?

What file format/codecs are you trying to play/convert for your ipod?

Re: Movies to Ipod..

www.kneoghau.co.uk/dirtycars.mp4

Download that file and see if it'll copy over and play. It works fine on my ipod so that way you can know if it's your codecs or your inability to copy a simple file to an ipod

Only other thing "i" can suggest

Does the ipod plugin work with ipod video?

Yes, starting with v1.40 video files (*.mp4) are handled correctly. Make sure that you meet all the prerequisites as mentioned on Copying Videos to iPod (e.g. the MP4 audio plugin must be installed in Winamp for this feature to work etc.).
Make sure the plugin is to update and make sure you're version of winamp can play the mp4 files
