| The Central Xmas Meal - 1st December - Reading Hey Everyone,
Please find the details for this years Central Xmas meal below; Date: Saturday 1st December Time: 8PM Place: Toby Carvery,Richfield Avenue, Caversham, Reading RG1 8EQ
Tel: 01189 505 044 MAP Festive Fayre Menu
Available Mon to Sat from 1st - 23rd Dec inclusive. Starters
Chef’s Choice Soup of the Day;
Melon with a Winter Berries Sauce;
Creamy Mushroom Coriander;
Traditional Prawn Cocktail with Fresh Bloomer Bread; Mains
Roast British Turkey with Trimmings; Roast British and Irish Beef with Yorkshire Pudding;
Honey & Mustard Glazed Roast Gammon;
Poached Salmon;
Mushroom, Spinach, Brie and Cranberry Wellington Puddings
Festive Pudding with Brandy Sauce;
Icecream with a choice of sauces;
Chocolate Gateau;
Profiteroles with Chocolate Sauce;
All dishes may contain traces of seeds and/or nuts.
They will book a table if there are 8 people or more.
The menu above is a £13 set menu, and carries a £5 deposit when the table is booked.
OR
We can just turn up and see what happens at 8PM, we may have to wait in the bar drinking, oh what a shame, and just have the normal carvery, again, oh what shame!! Accommodation
There is a Holiday Inn Express right next door, and costs about £80, for the night. LINK
I also think a few people have offeredto put people up if they want, but i'll not incriminate them myself. Please let me know asap whether your definately coming.

| Well i reckon we just turn up and see whats what, if we have to wait and drink, then so be it!
If we go for the xmas menu and i book a table we'll have to sort out the deposit stuff which is rubbish.
If we get there, have a table and demand the xmas menu, we'll get it, else we'll burn the place! |
