i was coming around a corner and saw something run across the road (think it was a small deer) and i braked and swerved to avoiid it (i think the was the series of events by going back and looking at scene of accident)

i hit multiple trees and as skidded about 30m while spinning about 180 to the left then 360 to the right followed by a 180 to the left again when i hit a tree cant remembber most of it as it happened all so quick

Fingers crossed that you check out fine, but for a few bumps . It's not surprising u can't remember much about what happened, your adrenaline must have been through the roof.

that sounds just like me wen i wrapped my nova, i was having a laugh with the switchboard wen i was calling for police help!!!!

i came round a corner doing bout a ton, dip in the road caused the stripped out rear end to come round, tried to steer into it but no chance. hit a big tree with the front left, car swung round and dug in flipping it over and over for about 50m along the treeline, somthing spat me out of the trees across the road for another 75m rolling side over end over side. i stopped facing the opposite bank on the roof. the b pillar was touching the seat and roof had creased along sunroof above my head, sun visor was 4" above steering wheel!!!!!

just glad i had buckets and 4 point harness!!! coppers even let me off which was nice but the 10 mile 200 quid recovery bill pi**ed me off a touch . mild concusion and two coppers telling me i should have been dead made me realise 1 thing, roll cage needed next time!!

sorry to hijack your thread mate, ill stay quiet now.

Personally I'd have taken my chances with the deer...if you hadn't of swerved you could have got away with clipping the deer and some superficial damage. Even if you'd have hit the deer I doubt the damage would have amounted to what it ended up.

This proves why you shouldn't swerve for wildlife

Good job the roads were quiet as well!

Try telling that to my gf's bro who lives in the US. If they don't swerve for widelife there a chance of hitting a 1/2 ton moose! lol

Its one of the reasons he's bought a Dodge Ram with big bars on the front!

He also works in the mountains throughout the summer so needs the load capacity and offroad ability. The widelife kept writing off Shoguns. The dodge seems to handle them fairly well, so far!

Ekk, thats a good one.

Also if you had hit the deer not only would it have been less damage you can also have venison for a week!

Hope your okay, and the insurance pays out well, then you can buy my coupe, lol.
